The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) has opened entries for its Annual Awards Ceremony, which takes place on Thursday 26 September 2019 at Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa, in Northamptonshire.
The awards celebrate brilliance in training and accreditation throughout the cleaning industry, and are now recognised as a prestigious accolade throughout the sector. 2018’s ‘Outstanding Candidate of the Year’ winner, Fern Soo from ISS Facility Services, commented: “Winning ‘Outstanding Candidate of the Year’ has opened up so many opportunities for me. Since winning the award, I have travelled to multiple sites across my organisation conducting BICSc training with other members of the team. It has encouraged participation amongst my colleagues, and they have shown more motivation to use best practice and industry standards across the board.”
In addition to the usual awards, this year there is a new applied-for category – ‘The John Edwards Award’ – which recognises an outstanding corporate member for their commitment and support in helping the Institute achieve its goal: ‘creating a career in cleaning’.
The Award Categories are:
•The John Edwards Award (Outstanding Corporate Member)
•Excellence in Training & Assessment (United Kingdom)
•Excellence in Training & Assessment (International)
•Client Commitment to Training
•Assessor of the Year
•Outstanding Candidate of the Year
Entries close at midnight, Tuesday 30 April 2019: you can enter online here.
