2020 Golden Service Awards host announced

Celebrity host announced for 2020 KCP Golden Service Awards

Kimberly-Clark Professional has announced that comedian, comedy writer and author Dominic Holland will host the 2020 Golden Service Awards, while Roger Tilling reprises his role as announcer and compère.

Described by The Sunday Times as ‘the UK’s master of observational comedy’, Holland is a prolific radio and TV personality with countless appearances under his belt, recently released his fifth novel ‘I’Gabriel’, and wrote and performed his own award-winning BBC Radio 4 series ‘The Small World of Dominic Holland’.

Holland’s eldest son, Tom, is currently a global megastar, starring as Peter Parker/Spider-Man across multiple films in the Marvel ‘Cinematic Universe’, most recently in 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. Dominic wrote about being overshadowed by his son's meteoric rise to fame in his book, 'Eclipsed'.

Steve Jones, General Manager UK & Ireland at Kimberly-Clark Professional, commented: “We are delighted to have one of the best British comperes for the 2020 event and look forward to Dominic brining his own unique and hilarious observations to highlight the inspiring achievements of our industry.”

Roger Tilling, the voice of University Challenge, will be returning as announcer and compère, following a successful stint at the 2018 GSA’s.

The 2020 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards is an important event in the cleaning and FM industry calendar. Around 500 guests are expected to attend the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 4 March at The London Hilton Park Lane.
