Amsterdam Innovation Award 2024: Nominees revealed

Nominations announced for the Amsterdam Innovation Award 2024

One of the most hotly contested competitions in the industry – the Amsterdam Innovation Award (AIA), a highlight of the Interclean Amsterdam trade show – has once again attracted an extremely high calibre of entries.

Featuring some of the industry’s most exciting and cutting-edge solutions, the 12 nominees for the AIA 2024 were recently selected by an independent jury from 96 submissions across four categories. All AIA registration fees will be donated to the African Medical & Research Foundation (AMREF) Flying Doctors.

From sustainable no touch soap dispensers to autonomous vacuum sweeping robots and high-tech wash drones, each of the nominations is leading the field within the ever-evolving world of professional cleaning and hygiene.

Visitors can vote for the Visitors’ Choice Award on the Interclean Amsterdam website from the beginning of April – 8 May. The category winners and the overall winner of the Amsterdam Innovation Award are to be announced on 14 May, the first day of the Interclean Amsterdam exhibition.

Speaking about the submissions, Robert Stelling, Director Interclean Global Events, said: “We’re thrilled to announce the nominees for the 2024 AIA – a highpoint of Interclean Amsterdam. With this year’s show set to be our most impressive and interactive one yet, we are looking forward to showcasing the winning entries to the international cleaning and hygiene community.

“As the world’s leading platform to unite the industry under one roof – these awards are testimony to Interclean’s continued passion to facilitate innovative solutions for a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable working and living environment. We’re proud to continuously raise the bar and can’t wait to share the highly anticipated results and shine a spotlight on the winners.”

Michelle Marshall, AIA Jury President, added: “As usual with the Amsterdam Innovation Award, the jury was tasked with evaluating many diverse entries from all aspects of the cleaning sector. Speaking on behalf of the judging panel, I can say the scores were extremely close in all categories and the standard of entries was truly impressive. Congratulations to all the final nominees across the four categories. We now look forward to seeing all the nominated products when we get together in Amsterdam before the show, to decide on the category winners. And, of course, the overall winner.”
