Bartholet enters the Matryx

The Sidcot Group has announced that Julian Bartholet is to join as Group Commercial Director, from 1 June 2018.

Julian joins from IPH Brammer, where he was UK Business Development Director. Julian has more than 20 years experience in the cleaning and hygiene industry, having started his career as a Business Development Manager at Deb Group in the late 1990’s.

Julian has also worked for over 8 years at Kruger Tissue, as both National Account Controller and then UK / European Sales Manager, and spent four and a half years as Strategic Business Development Manager for Bunzl Safety and Cleaning. He also holds an MBA in Business Administration from Bradford School of Management.

Speaking about his move to the Sidcot Group, Julian said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be coming back into the cut and thrust of the world of paper hygiene and teaming back up with my former CEO from Kruger Tissue; Sidcot Group Owner and CEO Nigel Samuel.

“Several years ago, whilst doing my MBA, I made the decision to come out of manufacturing to learn about the major distribution groups and work in that side of the supply chain. So now I’m returning to put into practice what I’ve learnt and help the Sidcot Group build on its success to date and become recognised as a major force in the UK paper hygiene industry.

“This is an exciting time to be joining the Sidcot Group following the acquisition of the former SCA paper mill in Chesterfield, and ongoing investment in the Matryx and Techcel converting operations in Royton, Greater Manchester giving us an opportunity to present a fresh and flexible offer to the UK cleaning industry.”
