BDMA MOVES TO NEW HEADQUARTERS

The BDMA has moved from its long-term base in Mitcham to brand new offices in Market Harborough, at the same time as it welcomed a new administrator to the team.

The new premises include facilities for delivery of BDMA Training courses and examinations, plus, being in a central location with good road and rail links, it will be more easily accessible to BDMA members and visitors.

The closing of the Mitcham office at the end of March coincided with the retirement of the BDMA’s long term Administrator, Anne Helfenstein, but in her place it is Sophie Bennett who has taken up the post. Sophie has been working closely with Anne prior to taking on the role at the new offices, and she is looking forward to providing support going forward.

Sophie has previously worked as a data analyst, operations administrator and customer services advisor, and also has a degree in Psychology and Criminology from Brunel University, so she brings a wide range of skills to her new role.

Anne Helfenstein has been the Association’s first point of contact for the past thirteen years. She will be greatly missed and the BDMA would like to thank her for all her hard work over the years. During her time as administrator Anne has seen the BDMA grow beyond all expectations and will be fondly remembered by many BDMA members and clients.
