Cordant Cleaning makes two senior appointments

Cordant Cleaning has made two key appointments to its senior team as it pushes ahead with ambitious growth plans for 2018.

Colin Marshall joins the company as Director of UK Operations, whilst Stuart Cunningham has been named Business Development Director.

In his new role, Colin will oversee day-to-day operations across Cordant Cleaning’s sites with overall responsibility for resourcing, budgeting and performance. He joins the business from AGS One, where he held the position of Key Account Director, and previously worked for Mitie as Director of Sectors and Strategic Accounts.

Stuart Cunningham joins Cordant Cleaning after spending four years as Head of Sales at Mitie Transport. As part of his remit, he will continue to build and develop the company’s extensive portfolio of clients by identifying new opportunities, whilst overseeing the management of tender processes from pre-qualification to contract award and mobilisation.

Guy Pakenham, Managing Director of Cordant Cleaning, said: “Both Colin and Stuart are high calibre appointments that will make an immediate impact across the organisation. Cordant Cleaning continues to go from strength to strength and it is important that we have the right people in place to help the business grow even further.”

Colin added: “Cordant Cleaning has a fantastic reputation across the industry and I’m looking forward to building on the excellent work carried out by the company over the last few years in order to further cement its position as a market leader.”

Stuart concluded: “I’m pleased to be joining such an accomplished team that is committed to delivering exceptional levels of service to a range of different clients. It is an exciting time to be joining Cordant Group, following the organisation’s recent decision to become a social enterprise.”
