EU funding used to cover cost of SmartTask

According to SmartTask, a growing number of cleaning services providers are taking advantage of European regional development funding to invest in the company’s employee scheduling and workforce management solution.

These companies are using the EU growth programme to part- or fully fund the cost of the software to help improve staff productivity, increase operational efficiencies and win more business.

The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is designed to support smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. Cleaning businesses are eligible for grants of between 25 and 100% of the cost of the SmartTask software solution – the available amount is dependent on the region, with less developed areas receiving greater support.

Paul Ridden, CEO of SmartTask, commented: “Our software is a proven tool within the cleaning sector, helping businesses to adapt and grow. However, some organisations may not have the necessary cashflow to adopt the solution, so the ERDF is an effective way of subsidising the costs and overcoming any funding obstacles. The SmartTask team is available to help interested cleaning businesses to find their local Growth Hub, as well as offer guidance on how best to apply for funding based on our experience with other companies.”

SmartTask combines intelligent rostering, live monitoring and integrated proof of attendance across both static and mobile teams, making it the ideal tool to improve operational control, enhance customer satisfaction, and support duty of care to staff.
