Facilicom UK is delighted that its managing director, Jan-Hein Hemke, has been shortlisted in the Inspirational Leader of the Year category at the European Cleaning and Hygiene Awards 2017, the first and only pan-European awards for the industry.
Facilicom is committed to sustainability (including its C2Zero programme, which offers clients a carbon neutral cleaning service), the wellbeing of its colleagues (including being a Living Wage Recognised Service Provider), and the needs and wants of its clients. They say that such ‘holistic success is not possible without an inspirational leader’.
Alongside leading the strategic approach of the business, Jan-Hein is very involved with developing people across the Facilicom Group and has mentored colleagues on its Potentials Programme over the past two years.
Jan-Hein said: “I am both proud and a little embarrassed about this nomination. I would like to thank all my colleagues, our customers and suppliers for their support in making Facilicom the successful business it is. I’m proud to have played my part, but it is very much a team effort.”
The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Rome on 9 November. This is the second consecutive year that Facilicom has been among the finalists.
