Government contract awarded to OCS

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has awarded a five year multi-service contract to OCS Group, as part of the government department’s integrator service delivery model.

The model services the MoJ, Crown Prosecution Service, Department for Education, Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government and the Department for International Trade.

The contract has an estimated value of £17.5m per annum and comes with an optional two-year extension. It comprises four main streams, including security, catering and cleaning, in addition to other services including concierge, mail room and reprographics.

OCS will deliver services across four regions including London and the south east, the south west, Wales and the Midlands, and the Westminster Campus. Each site will have an assigned lead manager and cluster leads dependent on the size and geographical spread. With 30 clusters in total awarded to OCS, the contract will cover upwards of 200 buildings – including the prestigious MoJ headquarters and QE11 Conference Centre in Westminster.

Bob Taylor, CEO of OCS UK, Ireland and Middle East, commented: “We pride ourselves on the quality of our public sector offering, and we’re thrilled to add such a prestigious Government body to our client base.”
