Grosvenor retains and expands business across four URW destinations

Grosvenor Services retain and expand business across four key Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield destinations

Grosvenor Services has announced the retention of its facilities management contract at Europe’s largest shopping centre, Westfield London, marking a significant achievement in their long-standing partnership with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW).

Alongside this retention, Grosvenor has successfully expanded the relationship with three additional shopping centres to provide comprehensive cleaning, facilities management and environmental services. This multi-million-pound partnership includes new locations: Westfield Stratford City, and Centrale & Whitgift in Croydon.

Originally awarded in 2016, the URW contract exemplifies Grosvenor’s commitment to service excellence, aligning with URW’s high standards to ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. This five-year extension, which began on 1 November, leverages Grosvenor’s extensive experience managing high-footfall, complex retail environments while tailoring services to the unique retail and hospitality requirements of each site.

Katie Wyle, Head of Shopping Management at URW, said: “We are delighted to continue and extend our partnership with Grosvenor Services. Their commitment to excellence in facilities management plays a vital role in creating a seamless, welcoming and high-quality environment across our destinations, benefiting both our visitors and retailers.”

Bernard McCauley, Group Managing Director of Grosvenor Services, added: “We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Westfield as a trusted partner of choice for over eight years. We are delighted to extend this partnership, and we look forward to working with URW over the next five years to ensure the highest standards, bespoke service and excellent guest experience. This relationship is testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented team, who fully embrace our vision and the values and goals of URW.”

Established in 1959, family-owned Grosvenor Services has an ethos that prioritises people. Operating across the UK, Ireland and USA, it employs over 4,500 staff, with a strong emphasis on their training and development.
