Environmentally-friendly cleaning franchise, Tidy Green Clean, is continuing 2020 with its commitment to growth by appointing two new Regional Directors, including its first in England.
Alex McCarthy has been hired as Regional Director for Northern England, while Callum Cruickshank is now Regional Director for Aberdeen West.
The business, positioning itself for further expansion this year, has recently had its three ISO certifications – ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 – renewed for a further three years. The company was also acknowledged as a Recognised Service Provider of the Living Wage Foundation in March 2020.
Alex will be targeting commercial cleaning contracts with office buildings, community centres, schools and nursing homes, in Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, and the Tees Valley.
Alex said: “I was really interested in [Tidy Green Clean’s] business opportunity, their ethics, ideas, operational values and the overall vision for the business and the fact that they’re great people to work with. For my area of North East England, I want to keep everything as local as possible and I am looking to support each community with real opportunities for people looking for a decent job.”
In Aberdeen, the third franchise for Aberdeen West has been acquired by Callum Cruickshank. With his background in the subsea, engineering and waste management industries, he is relishing the opportunity of becoming a master franchisee and Regional Director.
Callum stated: “I’ve always had the ambition to run my own business and I have watched Tidy Green Clean go from strength to strength over the past few years, and that made it a straightforward decision to become part of this exciting, ethical, hardworking team. I believe in giving people a chance to prove themselves and treating people how you want to be treated, and that’s exactly the values Andrew and David espouse.”
Andrew Alleway, Tidy Green Clean’s Managing Director, stated: “Our franchise offering is a unique and extremely attractive proposition that continues to draw in the right people who are willing to bring their own skillset to a business that holds exciting opportunities and rewards. 2020 has already provided a full set of its own unexpected challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic, and yet our business is proving that we have the right structures, mindset and transparent business relationships able to support both our people and clients during the current situation.
“Bringing Alex and Callum into the Tidy Green Clean family is further demonstration of our determination to thrive and build a highly sustainable and successful business for all our stakeholders.”
