In light of the recent relaxation of the lockdown, Holchem – part of the Kersia Group – has published new hygiene guides.
The guides are designed to help businesses in the hospitality sector plan their re-openings and ensure they are meeting the relevant guidelines and implementing best practice. The guides cover specific needs for the foodservice sector and businesses that offer accommodation.
They both contain information from the government guidelines and include advice on:
- Tools and resources to manage safety systems
- Risk assessments
- Cleaning of premises
- Touchpoint cleaning
- General precautions
- Environmental cleaning
- Staff training
Mike McHardy, Holchem’s Division Manager Foodservice and Facilities, said: “Our teams have been advising our customers on how they can open their businesses safely and in-line with government guidelines. The guidance includes amongst other things details on hygiene plans as well as tools and resources to ensure both staff and customers are put at ease. There are lots of different areas to consider and best practice to implement and we have the knowledge and expertise to be able to steer businesses in how they will need to adapt and change their business.”
Holchem is encouraging businesses to contact the team so they can offer them specific bespoke solutions to their post-lockdown hygiene needs.
