Independent janitorial and cleaning distributor network Jangro is urging all educational establishments to review their handwashing facilities before welcoming pupils back.
With COVID-19 still in general circulation, an enhanced focus on hand hygiene is required to prevent the spread of infection.
Jangro’s innovative Jangronauts range helps children learn the importance of hand hygiene in an engaging and interactive way. Designed especially for kids, the range features four handwashing heroes and informative messaging on a range of washroom dispenser units.
To help promote good hand hygiene behaviour, Jangro offers a free on-loan system (when soap refills are purchased), which includes hand soap, hand drying, and toilet tissue dispensers.
With more hand washes than the average 1200ml liquid soap dispenser, the Jangronauts BK039 TFX touch-free dispenser automatically releases soap when hands are placed below it, increasing hygiene levels whilst reducing wastage and mess in the washroom. It turns off automatically when opened and an LED light shows when the battery charge is low. It’s available with a colourful backboard and a wide range of soap options, including fragrance-free foam hand wash, and mild antimicrobial hand wash.
The Jangronauts handwashing heroes are also the stars of a variety of educational resources on their website, which offers many free downloadable materials including puzzles, stories, posters, handwashing certificates, colouring sheets, games, stickers and more. There is also a free teachers’ pack available to download, offering handwashing ideas to support the National Curriculum for EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
