99point9 Hygiene, producers of the only automated door handle disinfecting system approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency, has announced the appointment of Keith Baker to the Company’s board.
Keith has over 50 years’ experience in the cleaning industry, and from 2008 to 2016 was Director of EMEA Services for ISSA – the worldwide cleaning industry association. Keith has also been involved with the CHSA (the UK’s main association for suppliers to the industry) and helped with the introduction of accreditation schemes in the UK, designed to maintain high quality cleaning and hygiene standards throughout the marketplace.
Keith provides support to companies on recruitment, business strategies and M&A, and his appointment reflects 99point9’s global ambitions. As the company continues international expansion, Keith will advise the executive management team on its global go-to-market and sales strategy.
Keith has worked for a number of international companies and founded his own company – Baker Hygiene & Health Care Supplies – in 1989, a highly successful and award-winning distributor. He started his career at Unilever in the industrial detergents division and has also held senior roles with other UK manufacturers.
