Leading microbiological testing firm, MSL Solution Providers, is delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Sands as its new SDS (safety data sheet) author.
In his new role, Sands is responsible for authoring safety data sheets and completing Poison Centre Notifications for the biocidal and cosmetics industries.
By law, suppliers of chemicals must provide an up-to-date SDS if a substance is dangerous for supply. These essential documents provide information on chemical products, describing the hazards that the chemical presents, as well as giving information on handling, storage, and emergency measures in case of accident.
Sands brings a wealth of expertise, having previously spent five years at a large cleaning chemical manufacturer, where he was responsible for creating SDSs and Poison Centre Notifications for own-brand and customer products. His remit also included explaining the regulations and the subsequent obligations to clients.
Carolyn Burney, MD at MSL Solution Providers, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Sands to the MSL team. I am confident that his experience and skills will contribute to the continued growth of our SDS service and offer clients a quick, easy, and hassle-free solution when it comes to safety data sheets.”
Daniel added: “I am very much looking forward to building on MSL’s great customer offer, to further strengthen and develop the company’s SDS service and help clients stay compliant.”
