Sodexo’s team at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton, has been named Outstanding Team of the Year at the 2022 Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (AHCP) Awards.
Sodexo’s 106-strong team provides the soft services for the hospital’s five main wards, as well as the outpatients and mental health unit. Sodexo has been delivering services at the hospital for 13 years.
The title of Outstanding Team of the Year was awarded due to the team’s continued excellence in service delivery, which has helped two of the hospital’s inpatient wards and its theatre receive gold level status accreditations as well as the dermatology department recently achieving clinical accreditation and a recent PISA (Period of Increased Surveillance Audit) infection control audit scoring 100%.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the team worked in close partnership with the Trust to ensure all guidelines were followed to minimise the spread of the virus, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of patients, Trust staff, and colleagues.
