Second ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul provides multiday business platform

The second edition of ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul is taking place at the Istanbul Congress Centre from 18th to 20th October.

Once again, ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul will once again bring together cleaning and hygiene experts, professionals and exhibitors from Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa.

Staged biennially for an industry in rapid transition, ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul offers a multiday business and knowledge exchange opportunity, and showcases the latest products and solutions from national and international suppliers, along with a solid conference programme.

Rob den Hertog, Director of ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul, said: “[Istanbul is] easily accessible and offers plenty of opportunities. The economy has been outperforming itself as the tourism and hospitality sectors have seen a substantial growth with an increase from 297 to 590 hotels in the last decade, as well as a 25% growth in the number of shopping malls.”

This year’s event, organised in cooperation with regional partner UBM NTSR, will be presenting the Future of Cleaning in the ISSA/INTERCLEAN Theatre. ISSA runs four interactive workshops, featuring key issues such as best practices, cleaning needs in the hospitality market and well-being meets cleaning.

Dr. Peter Smallwood, of Smithers Apex, will talk about emerging trends, customer demands and more. Abdul G. Ansari of the Middle East Consultancy Association will address the challenges for cleaning healthcare facilities in relation to patient safety. The entire programme is available on the website.

Pre-registration is open and expected to attract an international audience, with interest coming in from more than 70 countries already. With 150 leading brands and a high level conference, ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul is fulfilling its role as an international networking platform for the cleaning industry in Turkey and the Middle East, and is said to play a vital role in finding solutions for the regions’ cleaning related challenges.
