Tork secures new hygiene standard

Secure the new hygiene standard with Tork

Tork is offering a one-stop resource hub to businesses keen to enhance their hygiene procedures under ‘new normal’ guidelines.

The brand’s ‘Secure the new hygiene standard’ website offers a free downloadable Back to Business Toolkit to help companies keep customers safe as part of a reopening plan.

According to a recent global survey (April 2020, United Minds with CINT), 81% of respondents have higher expectations of public washrooms to provide a safe and hygienic environment in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.

Don Lewis, Essity’s President of Professional Hygiene, said: “This period has been challenging for businesses, and customers’ hygiene expectations have increased. This means hygiene practices will be scrutinised more than ever as businesses begin to welcome back employees and customers.”

The customisable Back to Business Toolkit includes informative posters, checklists, hand hygiene prompts and bold signage designed to remind the public about one-way systems and social-distancing requirements. Other resources for businesses include:

  • A white paper, infographics and educational videos that detail how hygienic solutions such as paper towels, skincare products, tissue and napkin systems can help contribute to a cleaner and safer facility.
  • Tork product recommendations to help businesses secure the new hygiene standard.

Visitors to the ‘Secure the new hygiene standard’ website can also access existing Safe at Work toolkits that contain valuable tips, guides and product information. These are aimed at a variety of businesses including offices, higher education establishments, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality venues.

Don continued: “Tork offers guidance and insights based on decades of experience plus the latest recommendations from global public health organisations. We want to help keep facilities hygienic while supporting our customers as they navigate a challenging new environment.”
