Truvox International launches new website and showroom while investing in people for growth

Southampton-based Truvox International – a leading global manufacturer and supplier of commercial and industrial floorcare machines – has refreshed its brand, launched a new website and opened a new showroom and training centre.

Additionally, the company is making a major investment in people as it plans for significant growth.

Gordon McVean, Executive Director, said: “We’re excited to show Truvox evolving – our new logo, our new branding and now our new website repositions us a Global Floorcare Solutions business. The website allows customers to discover our latest products, easily compare machines, watch videos and access supporting documents. Plus, the dedicated support area allows customers to download the information they need straight to their device. The website is also available in different languages, including French, German, Spanish and Dutch to support our international customers and markets.

“Meanwhile, the new showroom and training centre provides the opportunity for us to show our full range of floorcare solutions and provide machine training for customers and staff. It features a variety of flooring types so that we can demonstrate each machine’s effectiveness and ease of use.

“Existing and prospective customers are invited to visit so they can see and try machines from each of our ranges, including: our single-disc Orbis range; Hydromist carpet cleaners; a full range of vacuum cleaners from the popular VTVe tub vacuum and Valet Battery Upright II, to the newly launched VTVe Compact; and our Cimex Three Brush multipurpose machines.

“Perhaps the star of the show is our Multiwash PRO scrubber dryer range. Available in three sizes, the machines wash, scrub and dry in just one single pass, leaving floors clean, dry and ready to walk on. Importantly, the Multiwash PRO range has now been expanded to include our new Multiwash PRO Steam and Multiwash PRO Battery, which we launched at Interclean Amsterdam in May.

“Having the showroom and training centre here at the Truvox International headquarters is a major benefit, as many customers don’t realise that many of our products are made here – and we will be including factory tours as part of the visitor experience.

“The showroom and training centre features a meeting room, and beyond just having the chance to try the machines, we will be offering detailed training sessions and providing advice on how to obtain the best floor cleaning results. We will also be using this new facility for training our own ever-expanding team.”

Gordon continued: “Truvox International has grown steadily over the past five years, and to deliver the next stages of this success we have invested in several new people. Our plan for the next three years is to continue on our growth path and while this will be achieved through innovation and new products, we realised that we needed to expand the team.

“Among the new roles we have created, we welcome Jean-Baptiste Landrieu as European Sales Director. He is from the pallet truck industry and brings a wealth of experience in international sales management having worked in Europe and South America. Pascal Jaquin and Alan Laindrec have also joined us recently as Regional Sales Managers and will be looking after our customers in France, reinforcing the rest of the international team, which also includes Christopher Beck in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Max Chupis overseeing the rest of Europe.

“We also welcome our new UK National Sales Manager, Paul Robinson, who has a background in the floorcare, cleaning equipment and janitorial products industry. Paul joins Mark Maslin, Regional Sales Manager South; Kasha Price, Regional Sales Manager Midlands; and Rue Paul, Regional Sales Manager North. Jack Stephens also recently joined as Internal Sales and Ecommerce Specialist, additionally looking after our home floorcare range, Simplicity.

“We have invested in our engineering department, supporting product enhancement and new product development, and expanded the warehouse team. Our parent company, Tacony Corporation, is fully supportive of these developments, and we’ve taken the view that this year we’re investing in people, so that next year we can further invest in growth.

“We’ve achieved double-digit growth in four of the last five years. Post-pandemic, business has come back very strongly, with customers wanting more machines delivered more rapidly. We’ve seen orders increasing on a daily basis, and the value of our order book is almost three times more than it was five years ago. We’re selling containers of equipment where we used to sell pallets, and that is a challenge – hence the need to review our team, capabilities and processes.

“We are proud to be opening our new showroom and launching a new website at this exciting time for the business and we’ve also taken this moment to refresh the offices and the whole Truvox brand.”
