Winning streak continues for Aramark

Aramark continues winning streak at BICSc NI Nation Awards 2019

Northern Ireland’s facilities and property management service provider, Aramark, has taken home three coveted awards at the BICSc NI Nation Awards 2019.

The awards ceremony was held at Belfast City Hall on 6 September 2019.

Haley McKeeman, who works with the Bushmills Visitors Centre, took home the top prize in the ‘Retail’ category, while Rhonda Smyth claimed the top prize in the ‘Office’ category and the overall prize of ‘Cleaning Operative of the Year’. Rhonda works with Ulster Bank DSE Belfast.

Aramark personnel were nominated in six of the seven categories, including securing all three of the shortlisted nominations in the ‘Office’ category. The news comes off the back of a very strong showing at the 2018 awards, where Aramark cleaning operatives took home top prizes in the ‘Office Space’ category and Alison Bell, Aramark Supervisor, was bestowed with the honour of the inaugural ‘Supervisor Recognition’ award.

Shane Flynn, Managing Director for Food Services and Facilities Management at Aramark Ireland, commented: “Congratulations to both Haley and Rhonda for their consistent hard work and dedication. We are delighted to receive this fantastic accolade. By winning three awards, the team clearly demonstrates the commitment of Aramark employees and the high standards they uphold throughout all our client facilities. This is an industry which holds itself to the very highest of standards, so it is wonderful to receive this recognition.”
