Full schedule released for Interclean Amsterdam 2018

Interclean Amsterdam has unveiled the full schedule for the exhibition – including the Healthcare Forum running alongside the show.

From 15-18 May 2018, Interclean Amsterdam will bring the professional cleaning and hygiene world together to showcase the latest products, services and solutions. Industry experts share their knowledge in sessions and events across a number of stages, including the Interclean Stage, InnovationLAB, WasteLAB and the Healthcare Cleaning LAB.

Rob Den Hertog, Director of Professional Cleaning & Hygiene at RAI Amsterdam, said: “We are looking forward to showcasing an extensive range of innovative products and solutions during this year’s show. Innovation has always been the driving force behind Interclean Amsterdam. In fact, it was the number one reason for people attending at the 2016 event.

“Once again, our seminars and workshops will offer visitors the chance to gain expert insight into their cleaning challenges and discover the innovations that will drive the future success of their businesses.”

The Interclean Stage will be central to the knowledge sharing and networking opportunities available to visitors throughout the show and will feature a range of free educational sessions that will explore topics vital to the future of the professional cleaning and hygiene industry. On 17 May, this stage will host the Healthcare Cleaning Satellite Symposium.

The InnovationLAB will be home to every single one of the Amsterdam Innovation Award nominated products, highlighting the best technology the show has to offer. Its stage will also host a range of free sessions – including seminars, workshops, discussions and presentations – as well as the Robot Arena.

The WasteLAB will host several events including the Anatomy of the Waste Bin workshop, giving visitors the chance to take a hands-on approach to learning more about how to be a part of the circular economy.

The Healthcare Cleaning LAB will offer a dedicated platform for sharing knowledge on best practice and innovation within the healthcare cleaning sector.

On 16 May, the Healthcare Cleaning Forum takes place alongside Interclean. The Forum, organised together with WHO and several infection prevention specialists, is an attempt to raise the profile of the importance cleaning and disinfection plays in reducing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and improving patient safety. This will include seminars on HAIs, education, staff safety, and the newest research. A €30 fee will be charged for this full-day programme.
